Key Responsibilities:

Python - 3+ years of production Python, comfortable with async/await, FastAPI, and clean concurrency patterns
Data tooling - Comfortable with pandas and numpy; can profile and optimize hot paths.
Databases - PostgreSQL (schema design, migrations, query plans) and Redis (pub/sub, locks, caching).
Microservices instincts - Idempotency, retries with backoff, graceful degradation, sane service boundaries.
AWS â€“ 2+ years of AWS experience, Comfortable running containerised services on AWS, with cloudnative logging, alerting, and secrets handling.

Role Proficiencies:

Docker - Fluent with Docker and multi-service local stacks.
Fintech / trading-adjacent exposure - Has worked on a fintech, broker, payments or trading product where uptime and correctness mattered.
Operational mindset - Has been on call for a production system you owned, and can talk through an incident you handled.
