Key Responsibilities:

• Good experience on UCS Rack mounts (Standalone & integrated with UCSM) managing & FW upgrades.
• Experience using VMware virtualization specifically on a UCS platform or other converged architecture
• Experience on configuring the FI, vNIC & vHBA etc.
• Experience on Disjoint Layer 2 network technologies & its design in UCSM.
• Hands on experience on UCS servers and VMware Monitoring the alerts through V-Centre/ UCS Manager console Providing Level 2/3 support for UCS Servers and VMware Raising TAC with Cisco/EMC/VM ware
• Strong hands on command line of ESX.
• Experience in performance tuning of VMWare servers and Virtual sessions and management of servers resources between virtual machines
• Basic knowledge on network/Storage & End to End architecture with UCSM
• Good Understand on UCS components (2nd & 3rd generation) configuration on Design & best practice
• General provisioning, build, patching, decommissioning process knowledge.
• Perform zoning on Fibber Channel switches & troubleshooting on switch such as Brocade/Cisco/Mcdata.

Role Proficiencies:

• Strong knowledge on Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of MS Clustering
• Should have hand on experience on firmware, driver & RCM  upgradation.
• Should have knowledge on Operating system and hardware troubleshooting
• Should have good knowledge on BSOD, PSOD and bug check error
• Should have good knowledge on storage components like VNX, VNXe, XtremIO
• Good motivational skills.
• Strong negotiation skills
• Should have good ITIL and ITSM knowledge
• Good understanding of Automation
