Key Responsibilities:

HNC / HND in Engineering discipline
Good understanding of Environmental, Health and Safety issues in a Chemical/COMAH site
An ability to write technical descriptions in non-technical language
Excellent technical writing skills with a keen eye for detail
Experience in a document control system and an experienced user of SharePoint
Knowledgeable in Standardised approach to document development
Skilled at working effectively with key internal stakeholders in an organisation
Be highly conversant with reading and using P&IDs, PFDs, GAs in all departments
Excellent demonstrable Microsoft Word, Excel and Visio skills

Be a relentless seeker of information and knowledge with an ability to turn the very technical, into easily digestible written materials for safe operations
Excellent written and verbal communication in English
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work to firm deadlines without need for supervision
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of data and information
Right first-time culture reducing document revisions
Able to work and engage with the team, being capable of both absorbing technical detail and challenging the status quo
Able to work on own initiative and to deadlines
