Qualification to practice Law in India (preferred).
At least 8 years of post-qualification legal experience, both within a law firm and in-house.
In-depth knowledge of the legal and business environment in India.
Experience in payment and/or IT industry is preferred.
Must have executive presence, composure, and strong influencing abilities.
Self-starter, highly organized, and able to deliver clear, business-oriented legal advice in a simple form in a fast-paced atmosphere is required.
Proven track record of excellent judgment, analytical ability, critical thinking, negotiating and risk management skills are required.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills (including verbal and written English), with a solid track record of building productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Attention to detail is essential.
Ability to work under pressure and meet competing deadlines.
Experience in negotiation, dispute resolution, litigation and managing external counsels.
High degree of integrity and professional accountability.
