Process Safety Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in risk assessments such as HAZOP, PHR, LOPA, Safety Critical Task Analysis (SCTA), Human Factors analysis for operations as well as capex projects
Work closely with maintenance & process engineering teams to ensure timely closure of actions from various risk assessments
Support root cause analysis for reported incidents & near misses
Create and maintain process safety information for site processes
Conduct gap analysis and audits against Group Process Safety policies
Train operations personnel on various process safety elements & standards
Act as MOC (management of change) coordinator ensuring these are adequately assessed and closed on time
Develop basis of saferty (BOS) documents
Engage with workforce to ensure process safety risks are understood and well-controlled by shift teams
