MICE Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Business Development: Proactively identify and secure new MICE and events business opportunities. Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed sales targets. Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, travel agencies, and associations. Conduct client presentations, sales calls, and site inspections to promote the property or venue. Maintain an updated pipeline of potential clients and leads.
  • Event Coordination: Collaborate with the Events and Operations team to ensure seamless planning and execution of MICE and events. Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met. Provide accurate event details, schedules, and requirements to internal teams.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify market opportunities. Conduct regular market analysis to adapt sales strategies to changing conditions. Participate in MICE-related trade shows, networking events, and conferences to represent the organization.
  • Budgeting and Reporting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and budgets for MICE and event-related activities. Generate weekly, monthly, and annual reports to track performance against targets. Manage contracts, invoicing, and payments related to MICE bookings.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns and materials tailored for MICE clientele. Liaise with F&B, Operations, and other departments to deliver exceptional event experiences.
Role Proficiencies:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of proven sales experience in MICE, events, or hospitality industries.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of the local and international MICE markets is a plus.
  • Flexibility to travel and work irregular hours as required.
