Key Responsibilities:

Architecture & Standards: Design comprehensive AI/ML architectures aligned with business and technical objectives. Develop and maintain AI/ML architecture guidelines, standards, and review checklists. Ensure all AI projects comply with established architecture best practices and regulatory requirements.
Governance & Review: Conduct proactive reviews and assessments of AI solution architectures across various projects. Provide actionable feedback, coaching, and guidance to teams implementing AI/ML solutions. Approve solution designs, ensuring adherence to architecture standards prior to implementation.
Innovation & Prototyping: Stay updated on emerging advancements in AI and machine learning, evaluating their potential through hands-on development. Build rapid prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and accelerators to assess and demonstrate new technologies or approaches. Publish point-of-view papers, technical blogs, and thought leadership content to guide stakeholders.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, engineers, and other business stakeholders to drive the development and deployment of AI solutions.
Leadership & Mentorship: Foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the AI/ML engineering community. Mentor and upskill team members in architecture best practices, new technologies, and design patterns.
Compliance & Security: Ensure all AI systems adhere to data governance, privacy standards, and ethical AI principles. Collaborate with the Responsible Use of AI (RUAI) team to ensure solutions comply with company policies and standards.

Role Proficiencies:

Professional Experience: Over 10 years of experience in software architecture. At least 5 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python programming. Experience with classical machine learning methods and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow. Familiarity with cloud-based machine learning platforms like AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, or Google AI Platform. Knowledge of MLOps practices, including CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to lead and mentor teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
