Junior Project Engineer/Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

Review site survey reports and identify technical, execution, electrical, structural, and safety-related risks.
Coordinate with design teams for solar PV layouts, SLDs, electrical drawings, and technical documentation.
Conduct technical reviews and ensure designs are practical and aligned with project requirements.
Support quotation preparation, project estimation, costing, BOQ preparation, and BOQ finalisation.
Review module, inverter, structure, cable, electrical, and other BOS requirements.
Prepare material requirements and coordinate with procurement teams, suppliers, and vendors.
Evaluate vendor technical offers and support technical/commercial comparisons.
Monitor procurement status, material deliveries, and project requirements.
Coordinate with site execution teams to resolve technical and project-related issues.
Provide technical inputs and make timely decisions to keep projects on schedule.
Monitor project progress against planned schedules and highlight delays or risks.
Support testing, commissioning, punch-point closure, billing, documentation, and final project handover.
Maintain proper project records, drawings, approvals, reports, test certificates, and handover documents.

Role Proficiencies:

Strong understanding of Solar PV / Solar EPC projects.
Knowledge of DC and AC systems, modules, inverters, cables, earthing, protection, and SLDs.
Ability to understand and review solar layouts, technical drawings, BOQs, and equipment datasheets.
Experience in project planning, coordination, estimation, and costing.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to coordinate effectively with clients, vendors, procurement, design, and site teams.
Good documentation and reporting skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks and work within deadlines.
