Key Responsibilities:

Provides hardware and software support within the agency
Maintains a hardware inventory of all equipment with asset tags assigned to WK employees, freelancers, and residents
Responsible for identifying and assisting with upgrading hardware that is considered end of life
Creates and maintains relationships with software/hardware vendors and resellers
Stays current with and makes recommendations of
Supports server products related to the design and/or production functions within the agency including but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite applications, Xinet Prepress software, Jamf, Google Workspace, Filemaker Pro, Maxon, etc.
Ensures all server data is backed up daily and archived. Also responsible for offsite data storage
Creates scripts/applications for automation and faster deployment (shell scripting / javascript)
Plans and implements software upgrades and OS releases within the agency after testing internally
Supports, calibrates, and maintains production printers/copiers within the agency. Orders consumables for the color printers and maintains printer inventory. Responsible for equipment repairs when necessary
Responsible for resolving level 1 and 2 tickets within the established SLA
Create documentation on ticket resolution to add to the IT knowledge base
Manages Crashplan synchronizations with employee laptops to ensure that cloud based data backups are occurring
Responsible for equipment moves
Helps dispose of end-of-life equipment, gather and coordinate pickup, notify finance of assets removed
Provide application training for end users
Submits budget forecasts to IT Manager for inclusion in annual IT budget
Coordinates requested training on Apple-related products for all Mac users
Manages, maintains, and distribute policies, scripts, and configurations within the JAMF environment
Organizes and helps maintain font-related software and purchases for the agency, adhering to the font usage and licensing guidelines
Maintains Extensis Universal type Server and Universal Type Client for font management
Responsible to plan and implement strategic goals in relation to Apple software, hardware, and desktop publishing-related activities
Set up, supports, and administers all Macintosh servers hardware and software
Creates documentation and or training videos for employees
Assists with IT onboarding of new hires, temps, and residents

Role Proficiencies:

Bachelorâ€™s degree in Computer Science preferred
Advertising or Creative industry experience preferred
4-5 years experience supporting Adobe Creative Suite applications
4-5 years experience maintaining and supporting Apple hardware and software
JAMF certification preferred
Experience in the printing field or web development is preferred
Experience with scripting a plus
Ability to work under pressure in a creative environment
Excellent customer service skills,
Ability to manage and prioritize a variety of projects concurrently
Ability to interact with internal and external clients at a variety of levels and across functions
A proven track record of gaining trust and respect by consistently demonstrating sound critical thinking skills and maintaining composure in stressful situations
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees
Highly organized with a keen sense of attention to detail

Exceptional presentation skills for IT Onboarding for New Hires/Freelancers
