ED Coding Trainer : Noida

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver training on ED coding: CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, NCCI edits, and payer-specific guidelines.
  • Update training content based on CMS, AMA, AHA, and ACEP changes.
  • Provide both classroom and one-on-one coaching for coders.
  • Analyze performance through audits, provide targeted feedback, and track trainee progress.
  • Partner with leadership to align training strategies with audit and quality metrics.
  • Maintain training documentation, SOPs, and accurate training records.
  • Support coders in handling complex coding queries and documentation improvement.
  • Deliver training virtually and in-person, and adapt content as processes evolve.
Role Proficiencies:
  • Technical Skills: Expert in medical coding for ED workflows (CPT, ICD‑10‑CM, HCPCS). Penetrates coding audits and provides actionable feedback. Familiar with EMR/EHR systems and payer-specific coding guidelines.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional verbal and presentation skills. Strong analytical aptitude for identifying performance gaps. Effective mentoring and people development. Versatile delivery: virtual classroom, in-person sessions, and SOP writing.
