Deputy Manager : Medical & Clinical Operations

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding and billing requirements and regulatory changes.
  • Manage overall personnel, performance, and discipline of assigned projects.
  • Provide expertise and leadership in the assigned functional area.
  • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and functions.
  • Front-end all client interactions and communications.
  • Review and analyze periodic reports and metrics.
  • Evaluate operational practices and procedures.
  • Support quality initiatives targeted towards process improvements.
  • Actively participate in internal audit support, ensuring all compliance parameters are met.
  • Establish and maintain a working environment conducive to positive morale, individual style, quality, creativity, and teamwork.
  • Provide direction to staff; ensure resolution of problems; set priorities.
  • Assist senior management in planning, implementation, and evaluation/modifications to existing operations, systems, and procedures.
  • Manage attrition and build retention strategies.
  • Prepare annual business plans, including operating budgets.
  • Negotiate solutions, resolve conflicts, and anticipate/handle critical situations.
  • Provide regular performance feedback and conduct frequent formal and informal coaching sessions.
Role Proficiencies:
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in medical coding systems and regulatory compliance. Strong analytical skills for data review and process evaluation.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage and lead teams effectively. Experience in managing client relationships and internal stakeholders.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to provide constructive feedback and conduct coaching sessions.
