Cyber Security Trainer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Expert Instruction: Deliver high-quality, engaging, instructor-led training (ILT) sessions covering the full scope of Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) topics and foundational Security Operations Centre (SOC) domains (e.g., incident detection, threat triage, security monitoring, SIEM tool basics).
  • Hands-on Lab Design & Execution: Design, manage, and facilitate dynamic, hands- on lab environments utilizing industry-standard tools and simulated attack / defence scenarios to ensure practical skill development.
  • Curriculum Development: Prepare, update, and maintain comprehensive course materials, detailed lab guides, student assignments, and assessment rubrics to ensure content relevance and accuracy.
  • Mentorship & Feedback: Mentor and coach students, provide timely and constructive performance feedback, and track individual progress to ensure mastery of technical concepts.
  • Industry Alignment: Collaborate closely with the Prathibha Skills Development Centre (PSDC) to guide students on placement-ready projects and foster essential industry readiness skills.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively participate in ongoing curriculum review and update cycles to incorporate emerging cybersecurity threats, best practices, and the latest industry tools.
Role Proficiencies:
  • Certification (Mandatory): Possession of the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification from EC-Council.
  • Practical Experience (Preferred but not Mandatory): Hands-on experience working in a Security Operations Centre (SOC) environment, particularly with SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools and documented Incident Response (IR) procedures.
  • Professional Tenure: Minimum of 3+ years of practical, verifiable experience in the cybersecurity domain (e.g., penetration testing, security analysis, or threat hunting).
  • Training Acumen: Proven track record of delivering engaging, technical training or presentations to diverse audiences preferably in EdTech sector.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to manage classroom dynamics, handle technical queries, and effectively assess student performance.
