Role Summary This internship provides an excellent opportunity to engage in customer operations, reporting, and carrier management. The role focuses on maintaining operational excellence and ensuring proactive communication to meet customer expectations.
Proactively report systems or operational issues impacting customer shipments to relevant DPW and customer teams.
Track issues through to resolution to ensure minimal disruption.
Compile, review, and action reporting suites for key accounts and DPW business per KPI requirements.
Address customer complaints by ensuring accurate documentation of root causes and corrective actions.
Track and manage open customer orders through to delivery, return, or claims resolution.
Compile and manage all billing activities for carrier and customer transactions to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Contribute to DPW control tower and customer projects to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field (pursuing or completed).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Familiarity with TMS (Transportation Management Systems) and data analytics tools is an advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Exposure to logistics, customer service, or carrier management is preferred but not mandatory.
