Key Responsibilities:

Strategic & Business Partnership â€¢ Partner with the BU leadership team to drive business strategy, pricing decisions, and operational efficiency. â€¢ Evaluate and support strategic initiatives including new contracts, expansions, and investments. â€¢ Provide financial insights and guidance on market trends, competitor performance, and business risks/opportunities.
Financial Planning & Analysis â€¢ Lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans for the BU. â€¢ Monitor monthly performance against budget/forecast and analyze variances. â€¢ Deliver high-quality MIS and dashboards to support decision-making.
Controllership & Compliance â€¢ Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing in line with corporate accounting standards. â€¢ Maintain a robust internal control environment, ensuring compliance with accounting, tax, and statutory requirements. â€¢ Coordinate with external and internal auditors for financial and process audits.
Working Capital & Cash Flow Management â€¢ Oversee receivables, payables, and inventory with a strong focus on working capital optimization. â€¢ Drive improvements in cash flow forecasting and management.
Team Leadership â€¢ Lead, mentor, and develop the BU finance team to build capabilities and ensure succession planning. â€¢ Promote a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and process excellence.

Role Proficiencies:

Minimum 10â€“15 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in Contract Logistics / Supply Chain / 3PL industry will be and added advantage.
Proven experience in financial planning, operations finance, and commercial business partnering.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations, transport cost structures, and contract pricing mechanisms.
Excellent business acumen and stakeholder management.
Ability to lead teams and manage across a matrix structure.
Proficiency in ERP systems Oracle, CRM etc.) and financial modeling tools.
