Automation QA Engineer (Python)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strong analytical, excellent written & verbal skills are must.
  • Strong Knowledge on Print Domain
  • Exceptionally good understanding & hands-on experience in Python
  • Should have good understanding QA Processes and Software Testing concepts.
  • Working experience in SCRUM or other Agile methodology needed
  • Ability to define test strategy, create test plans, test cases, and test data sets based on the requirements
  • Analyze test results, and identify, document, and report root causes for test failures by working with the development team and the defect tracking system
  • Hands on experience in Defect Life cycle, STLC, SDLC, Gap Analysis, Impact Analysis.
  • Analyze and understand the project's environment, architecture, and interdependencies to determine and apply appropriate test methodologies and cases relative to applications/Product being tested.
  • Planning and execution of functional, system and performance testing of products across all platforms to test various features at various phases of product development and release cycles.
  • Assist developers in reproducing problems and getting them resolved; participate in discussion with development team on technical aspects relating to testing, including functional specifications, design parameters, feature enhancements, and alternative solutions.
  • Share responsibility for improving testing methodology, processes, strategies and techniques; incorporate these improvements into the overall testing process; help facilitate changes in test processes and procedures with team members.
  • Bachelor's degree in BE, MSc, BSC, BCA or equivalent with 4-7years of work experience in software quality assurance.
